Editing

For the following examples, I served as the photographer and selected images that best supported the story I was telling.

As a photojournalist, I collaborated with editors and designers to determine available space, considered layout and orientation, and provided a mix of tight, medium and wide angles that told the most accurate story. I sought feedback from fellow photographers, writers, designers, and editors to ensure the photos were effectively providing a visual narrative.

As a marketing photographer, I participated in meetings to discuss the visual direction of a spread to meet institutional goals. I invited our graphic designers and writers to join the photo shoots to provide immediate feedback.
